Mike got the last week in June off from school so we headed off Utah. It was such a great trip and we loved getting to visit with all of our families there. We first saw Nic and Kandis. We spent a day at Seven Peaks and I was quite pleased to hear the water was heated (especially because there was still snow on the mountains...and that doesn't really say "swimming season") The kids had a great time in the wave pool and ofcourse the dads loved going on the slides.

Kandis got to teach Ava some gymnastics.

We spent a day at the children's descovery museum. It kinda reminded me of a really big nursary room. It was kinda kayotic, but I still think the kids had a blast.
Ava loved dressing up in all the costumes.

Aaa playing with daddy
After a few days in Provo we went to stay with the Scotts. Oh my gosh I could not get over the beauty of their house! Mike got to play a lot of nintendo with Jessie and I loved the indoor pool (again...I do not like cold water and wow was this perfect). The kids loved playing on the trampoline and Mike and I enjoied a movie each night in the theater room.

On our last day we visited Aunt Val for a 4th of July party. The golf course across the street was just coverd with people. There was a live band and ofcourse Aunt Val made everyone go to the dance area. Some people brought like 20 big beach balls and began throwing them in the dancing crowd. Oh ya Ava loved that. Once the sun set we headed back to a neighbor's house to watch the fierworks. Again the kids loved it. Ava kept saying the darndest things during the show..ex.."geese laweese" and "oh wow, my goodness" whenever there were really big ones. Everyone got a good laugh. Thank you to everyone who allowed us to stay with them. We had such a wonderful week and can't wait to come back.
