My Little Big Boy

So my little boy has turned 1. I can't believe how incredibly quick his first year went. He is learning so much these past few weeks. He can say "more" (along with the sign language), he gives kisses (with a WIDE open mouth), gives hi-fives, head bonks, makes the sound of an elephant and a cow, and on Sunday night he took his first step!!! Mike worked some more with him last night an got Jack to take 6 steps. WOW. I'm going to be in trouble.
We had a fun birthday. My family came over and we had home made Coasta Vida. Sooo Yummy. Jack loved the sweet pork and mini home made tortillas with butter and cinnamon and sugar.

He seemed to know just what to do with the presents, he loved taking the tissue paper out, but then thought it was fun to stuff it back in the bag.
Of course Ava loved Jack's new toy too.
Again instincts just took over and he dug right in....and then...
threw his cake! Of course it had to miss the "safety mat" I put down....I mean it missed it by a fraction of a centimeter! He thought he was so funny. I love my boy and am so thankful to have him in my life. He is always so happy and just wants to learn and be loved....(we are still working on it with his sister)

So cute. That is funny, yet sucks about the cake throwing. Good luck with the walking stage, it's always exciting and then it's so much more work.
