So Linda has been hard at work redoing the guest/children's room. As seen on her blog, there is a black and white comforter with turquoise pillows and an old gold mirror that she painted white. The walls seemed bare so we put some pictures of the kids up along with matching curtains. But something was still missing... And then one day while Linda was on ETSY she found the perfect solution....A BIG tree! This vinyl tree came with the perfect turquoise colored birds and black shelves are in the mail.
Since the room was getting such a great makeover I decided to help out and fix up Jack's crib.I found some sheets at Target on clearance that were the right splash color and then went from there...
At a garage sale like a year ago we got a dresser for free. I wish I took a before picture; just imagine it BRIGHT white with cheesy princess stickers and flowers on it with white plastic bulky nobs...
We painted it a vintage white,
found some wrapping paper at Target that was perfect (I figured one day Ava's room would be black and white and some other color)
