So the other morning I woke up super tired, as usual, and was looking forward to getting Ava out of her crib and having her watch her Baby Einstein movie which would give me 30 more minutes of precious sleep. My plans were shot to heck when I opened her bedroom door...
My sweet little Ava had pulled her diaper off and poop was ALL OVER her crib. Her blanket, stuffed animal, drum sticks, decorative pillows, nightgown, her legs, feet, hands, and oh yes her FACE. Thankfully she had her binkie so I don't think anything was consumed. To top it off...she peed too. Looking back, I should have taken a picture. She just sat there giving me the biggest grin! However, complete panic and desire to rid my baby's face of poop smears kicked in and within seconds, she was stripped, the contents of the crib was in the wash and the bathtub was being filled. Once again, as soon as I got her in the tub, she gave the cutest smile, her mouth open wide baring all 4 teeth. I love my little girl and from now on, NO MORE NIGHT GOWNS WITHOUT BOTTOMS!

Wow...that would be quite a sight to wake up to!!! I'm sure at the time it was not funny...but reading about it now made me chuckle while thinking...poor Mike and Christy!!!
I am SO glad my kids have never done this! I won't know if I would laugh or cry! :) I hope this isn't something that happens ever again.

So grateful Carson has not ever done anything that that, I think I would die!!
YIKES!! I'm glad that i have never had to deal with that (knock on wood) It's stuff like this that you say, "I would never touch that" and then once you see it you don't even think about it and how gross it is. She still is adorable though.

It was fun spending time with you while I was in town. Ava is just so cute and fun to be around.
I'm so glad I don't have a story like that. I have never had that happen, not yet anyways. I would be so grossed out. I would probably just throw as much of it away as I could and hose down the rest. I'm sorry you had that happen.
