We can't believe Ava is already a half year old! She is growing up so fast, in age at least. A couple weeks ago we took her to get her ears checked at the doctor, and she weighed in at 13 lbs. We love her just the way she is though. She's getting better at sitting up and can do it all by herself for a little while as long as she keeps her attention forward. As soon as she sees something to the side she goes for it and tips over. We had started to feed Ava normal food but she was getting a rash so the doctor said to stop feeding her so many new foods. hahaha I guess we were a little too excited to give her the good stuff. She is grabbing things and getting better coordinated. She has also recently started to put her thumb in her mouth. She doesn't suck on it though, she chews on it. Christy did a little photo shoot with Ava the other day so here are some updated pics. She was being serious for some reason so she isn't smiling in any of them.

I can't believe that she is still only 13 lbs! What a cutie. I think Isaac was 13 lbs when he was 2 weeks old. :)
She's adorable! 6 months is such a fun time...smiley and happy. We wish we were closer to hold and play with her.
