Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year we spent the day with Christy's family. We had such a great time eating lots of food and playing games. We started the day off by taking our usual walk down Barker Rd to see the horses. It was such a beautiful day around 70 degrees.
Then we went over to Christy's parents house and ate lots of good food. We had two turkeys! Christy's dad, John, made a very good traditional turkey and Christy's brother and brother in law made a turkey from a recipe they got from their favorite morning radio show, Rob, Arnie, and Dawn on 98 rock. They both turned out so good and we had lots of leftovers to make turkey sandwiches.
After dinner we played some games. We played Phase 10 and a new game called pictureka. Grandpa Meyer was holding Ava while we played phase 10 and she kept wanting to grab his cards. She is learning to use her hands more and more each day and likes to grab everything. Pictureka is a fun game kinda like a where's waldo but with weird shapes and drawings. You draw cards and have to find certain things or a certain number of things that have to do with a category like "things that can fly."
I had to put this pic on here because I think its really cute how she has so many toys on her tray and she is so tired she is just sleeping.
