Well first off, some of you know that we got a van. At first I was not really on board because I'd sworn growing up that I would never have one and also I really loved the truck! But Mike convinced me and when Jake and Julia came to town I got to see the cool side of vans, they are actually quite practical. Mike did a great job finding this one for an awesome price and the truck sold in 2 days. It was all a some what easy process. And...I do really love the van!
Jack is 7 months and at his 6 month check up he weighed 17lbs. He is almost bigger than Ava! Jack is finally opening his mouth to eat solids now and he gets really excited about bananas and applesauce. He is rolling and scooting himself all over the place. He is also sleeping in Ava's bed now (since she refuses to sleep in the crib anymore) and sleeping all through the night!!!! I'm so happy.
Ava's news...No binkie for a week! She has bit through 3 and we ran out of ones in the house and she only takes the newborn ones. The first night she was sad and the next day she asked for it and then that was the end of it. Woohoo! She is still sleeping in our bed.
And she is learning to climb things...which really freaks me out
Mike is still enjoying school and he is excited to start his clinical training at the U.C. Davis Med Center in Sacramento which means.....I get to start packing.

oh. my. goodness. Could Jack be any cuter??? I just want to love on him! Yes, the van is the way to go....wouldn't trade ours for a second. And boo to packing. Nothing worse then packing. :)
The van is pretty sweet. Much better than the full size beast that I had to drive all of you guys around in. The HUGE Ford club wagon. That really doesn't even sound cool! We are excited for you to be back with us on the 25th. It will go by fast and then you will be packing again to move into a permanent home soon!

I love that picture of Jack. I miss you guys. So tell us more about the van... Both our kids were pretty easy coming off the passy, I'm really worried about getting Connor off the thumb, if you have any advice I would love it!
Cute pics of Jack! He's so big I can't believe it! Nice van... but I don't think we'll ever give in. We are both ANTI :)
