4th Weekend

Mike had a week off of school so we journeyed home for the holiday. We left 80 degree weather in Richmond and was welcomed by 100 degrees in Loomis! What a difference an hr makes. At least the Kelly's have a pool. We had a great time in the water and visiting with family. Thomas and Mike had a lot of fun in the pool making up manly throwing games (which Kristen schooled them on) and playing basketball.

There was suppose to be 4th festivities at our marina so we headed home Saturday. It was a bust! We were expecting like an "eggplant festival" (as done in loomis) but there were only 3 tents and they had ridiculously high priced food. Oh well, but we did see the firework show and it was great...cold...but very pretty especially with fireworks reflecting off the water.
