We had a fun filled Memorial Day weekend. After Mike was done with school we went to 6 Flags and saw some animals up close. They have a viewing area with windows to see the tiger so we went right up to them. The tiger pretty much just sits at the top of the hill but this time he came down Right to Ava and yawned and then turned the other way. Ava was so scared and started crying. Poor thing. But as we left she started waving, "Bye Tiger, bye." A similar thing happened with the elephants. They let you pet the elephants and so we took Ava to it and again she started crying. Man those things are so BIG, I guess if I were her size I'd be scared too.
Saturday we took the kids to Stenson Beach off highway 1. The drive was like the road to Hana but it was worth it. It is just a little beach town right on the highway and a beautiful beach. Ava had a blast running in the water and trying to cover mine and Mike's feet with sand.
Monday we went to an outside mall just outside of Berkeley and I got the perfect fitting pants at H&M. It was a great mall, lots of good stores.
