Jack had his blessing last Sunday and he looked so handsome! I love my little boy. Ava enjoyed being back in her normal nursery class and being around her Aunt and Uncles (she loves her grandparents too). After church we went to the Kelly's for yummy ribs. The dinner was fabulous, thanks Linda! We can't wait to come back. In the mean time we will be going to our new ward because we have callings. Mike is teaching 15 year olds and I am in the nursery. I have no clue what to do. Another lady was just called to it also and we are kinda lost so if anyone has any suggestions on how to run it, let me know!
Jack also had his 2 month update. He is healthy and weighs 12lbs! I think Ava finally hit that mark at 6 months. He is being such a good baby and is smiling so much!
We have also being following Jake and Julia's lead and started living this last month cable free and I LOVE IT! There is so much crap on tv and we waisted so much time watchin it. There is peace in our house now...until Mike decides to download the latest SouthPark.

Aww! jack is so cute. I want to hold him. His outfit is so cute and he does look a lot like Mike. As far as nursery. I've never worked in the nursery, but things that I remember was good for when my kids were there was... have toys out and ready (like puzzles, books) when they are dropped off. If there aren't any toys out, the kids will cry. Also bubbles (if your ward lets you) the kids love bubbles. I also went to a ward and they would have songs playing in the background, I think that that helps too. Good luck. I don't know how you are doing nursery with a little baby... I guess Mike gets to help.
If you follow our lead you will soon find yourself going back to comcast with your "tail between your legs". Our no cable experiment lasted about 2 months. Of course, when I found out it would actually cost less to get cable back than to just have phone and internet it was a no brainer.

I was just telling Nic that I wanted to cancel the cable and he totally freaked out! He is never home and I never watch tv during the day so I thought it would be a good idea. But like Julia said, I think it is probably cheaper to keep the Cable/Internet package rather than just paying for Internet alone.
Call me about Nursery. Nic and I were in Nursery for a long time and know the routine and tricks! I would love to help ya.
