Our little Jack came 2/11/2010. The Dr. broke my water at 11:15am and by 4:20, he was here! It all went great, except for the anesthesiologist not receiving his pages meaning that I had an extra hour of pain...not fun! But once he came and gave me my drugs.... it was smooth sailing. Around 3 the nurse checked me and said I was at 10, but that the Dr. wasn't there yet so I would just wait until I felt I would really have to push. The Dr., however came just as I was getting the urge and within 2 contractions Jack was here! WOW that was so much easier and quicker than with Ava. Jack is great and healthy, he weighs 8.5 and is 21 inches long. A good solid boy! Mike was not feeling too well that day so the nurse arranged for us to have our own room. That just made my day, what a difference from last time. My recovery is going great, I haven't needed to pop any pain pills and I can move around very well.

Proud Daddy with his son, although this picture looks a lot like the one he took with AvaWe were at the hospital for 24 hours and are now happy to be home. Ava is not too sure about what is happening. She will kiss her brother and point to Jack when we say "where's baby Jack?" But she is not very happy. I think she is waiting for him to leave. She starts to cry when I have to leave to feed him and doesn't know why we can't hold 2 kids. She will come around soon (I hope).

Yay, so fun to see pictures! He is so cute. I wish I could be there to hold him. Give him lots of loves for me.
I'm glad that delivery went well. And I can't believe you are already home. I like to stay at the hospital longer, it's nice time for me to be with the baby... maybe on your third you'll feel the same way. And I hope Ava will come around too. I don't have any advice for ya. I'm sure she will get tied up with all the moving that will soon come. Hugs to everyone!!
ooo good luck! I had a hard time adjusting from 1 to 2 kids! I hope you do better then I did!

Congratulations! He is so cute!!! I'm glad that everything went so well. He does look like his Dad, has his nose and everything! A job well done. Glad that you're recovering well!
