On Wednesday Kandis, Nic, Christy, Tyler, Courtney, and I all made the trek out to University Falls. It is located a few miles past Georgetown in the El Dorado National Forest. We thought it was going to be a short 10 or 15 minute hike in, but it turned out to be an hour long hike and 5.6 miles round trip. Only Kandis had been there before but she failed to remember the long hike part. It was a nice hot day which was good because the water is freezing. The slides were pretty fun and it was good just to get out in the great outdoors.

That looks really nice! Was it a hard hike? I think you guys are going to have to show us all when we make it back there. How did you guys do on your first outing without Ava?
