First Doctor's Appointment
Last Friday we went to our first doctor's appointment for christy and the baby. According to their calculations, Christy is about 16 1/2 weeks pregnant. So we were pretty close with our own calculation. The nurse put a microphone thingy up to her stomach so we could hear the babies heartbeat. That was really cool. It's slowly becoming more and more real for us. We scheduled a new appointment in 2 weeks and if we understood correctly, they will perform an ultrasound. We are way excited for that and can't wait to see if it will be a boy or girl. We will keep you all updated. Oh, also Christy thinks she is feeling the baby start to move around. The doctor said you can start to feel it as early as 16 weeks. It's all a new experience still so she isn't 100% positive what it feels like.

oh i'm so excited for you two! that is when the whole thing really starts to become real...when you can feel the baby move inside you! can't wait to find out what you're having! do you have any feelings one way or the other? we need to see a belly shot soon!

Yea!!!! That is soooo exciting! I love when you can first feel the baby move. So, Christy are you showing yet? You should start posting belly pics every other week or so, so we can see how you are growing.
I agree with my fellow sisters, feeling the baby move is really the best part, i love feeling them move up until the end if they are in your ribs like Megan, but with Bryson i loved it the whole time. But you will have to start putting belly shots on, its not so fun when you do it, but you will love to look back on them after you have the baby and espcieally when you get pregnant again.
Belly shots will soon be on their way.
